Likely painting number 21 exhibited at the Maryport Educational Settlement exhibition 10th to 16th May 1964. Reputably acquired on the advice of LS Lowry who acquired a very similar painting (Sea near Port Carlisle, catalogue reference 22) which is now on loan to Tullie House, Carlisle. Further research pending
