William Johnstone OBE (1897 - 1981)
Studied at Edinburgh School of Art in the mid 1920s, winning the Carneige Travelling Scholarship. Principal at the Camberwell School of Art (1938 - 46) and latterly Central School of Arts and Crafts, London, 1947 - 60.
