1898 - 1982. Kathleen Tyson was an oil painter of landscapes, marine pictures and miniatures. Born at Grimsby, she studied at Hull Art School and the Westminster School of Art. Went on to exhibit widely, venues including RA, NEAC, RBA, ROI, SWA and LG, the provinces and Paris Salon. Her work was reproduced in The Times and Manchester Guardian and in Royal Academy Illustrated. Principal works include The Flower Market, Antwerp, Polperro and Royal Dock, Grimsby. Hull and Southampton Corporations bought her pictures. Lived at Poole, Dorset.
