Born in 1904, Frank Runacres was an English painter who studied at a number of prestigious colleges, including Saint Martin’s School of Art, the Slade School of Fine Arts and at the Royal College of Art between 1930 and 1933. Between 1937 and 1965, Frank Runacres exhibited eighteen paintings at the Royal Academy as well as at the Leicester Galleries, London, the Manchester City Art Gallery and the NEAC.
