Spring exhibition
Following on from our Coast to Coast exhibition, we’ve had a full gallery rehang, with new works both contemporary and Modern British (20th century) covering the walls, all may be seen in our SPRING EXHIBITION which runs through April and into May.
Artists on show include Frank Auerbach, Percy Kelly, Patrick Heron, Alex Hain, Ronald Ossory Dunlop, Joan Eardley and John McNairn, amongst many others including our affordable Mid Century Modern Alternatives selection.
New work will be added on a regular basis, with works by Norman Cornish and Bill Peascod already waiting in the wings.
The Appleby brothers
Looking forward, from 13th May we’ll be exhibiting the latest paintings by brothers Louis and Alex Appleby. Twenty six works are planned in total, including three painting collaborations. Both are past graduates of Wimbledon College of Arts, with Louis going on to attain his MA at the Royal College. Both are hugely talented, inventive and exciting young contemporary artists and we’ll be providing more information as we get closer to the exhibition. Suffice it to say, our studio visits to them both this week were really quite exciting.
