Lawrence Quigley, Coast to Coast
A really intriguing idea
In May 2021 Lawrence Quigley, a successful and respected artist we've known of for some time, approached us with an idea, we were intrigued.
Lawrence was intending on travelling the Coast to Coast route, "created" by Alfred Wainwright back in 1973; a walk of some 183 miles from St Bees in Cumbria to Robin Hood's Bay in North Yorkshire. The plan was for Lawrence to visit and camp at or around key parts of the walk over four full seasons, capturing not only the differing terrain and vistas, but also seeing all through the eyes of the changing seasons.
